CHIEF DISMISSES ALLEGATIONS MUKANDILA NOT ZAMBIAN
Chief Sokontwe of the Ushi-speaking people in Milenge District, Luapula Province, has dismissed allegations that lawyer Celestine Mukandila is not Zambian.
He stated the opposition politician was born in his chiefdom on 20th February 1990.
The Traditional Leader said Mukandila only travelled to Congo because of his parents’ work.
He added that his mother belongs to the abena mfula (rain clan) from Chief Mununga in Nchelenge District.
The Ushi Chief further clarified that Mukandila and his family later returned from Congo.
Immigration authorities are investigating claims that Mukandila is accused of obtaining Zambian documents improperly.

Sometimes leaders need to let the dust settle before they open their mouths.
Its the state that is questioning based on some credible infromation about this man. His mouth has french names. Dont those in themselves raise a question?
Lets learn to learn ,to let institutions whose job by law is clear that doubt.
We voted to have a government that protects institutions from this very kind of meddling.
Ballots were being found in sewers cause individuals want to undermine institutions. When will we learn to respect institutions that are way bigger that this man? How will laws be respected in his own chiefdom if this man wants to be a law unto himself?
Awe kanabesa…here you are wrong. Let those doing their work do their work. You were not there when his mother was giving birth. You have just been told by someone about this young man being your subject. And that can be false or hear say even at law.
