MUNDUBILE WHAT YOU NEED IS NOT UN OFFICES, WHAT YOU NEED IS FORGIVENESS AND RECONCILIATION

Mr Mundubile sir, hiding in UN premises will not help you. UN will not save you from Zambians. What you need now is not a petition, not UN protection, what you need is to kneel down and ask Zambians for forgiveness and reconciliation.
Before elections, you were going round telling people the economy has collapsed, yet every Zambian can see debt has been restructured, investors are back, mines are working. You were telling people there is hunger everywhere, yet the government gave free food, and children eat in school, HH gave farming inputs on time, gave cash for work, there is a bumper harvest. But You were painting Zambia black to the world.
During elections, facts show you were the one claiming you had won before ECZ even finished counting. On 15th August, before 226 constituencies were counted, you said you had won without any evidence. That caused tension. ECZ had to suspend counting because of violence against polling staff and theft of ballot papers. Who caused that tension? It’s your early claim.
After elections, ECZ declared HH winner with 60% vs your 38%, a clear 22% gap. Instead of congratulating the winner like a true Zambian, you said you will sue, you said there was fraud, but you have shown no single evidence that can bring the votes you allege have been stolen. And now reports say you have run to hide in UN premises instead of facing the people. This is not leadership. Leadership is when you are beaten clean, you accept.
Mundubile, Zambians are not your enemies. Bally is not your enemy. The best thing you can do now is come out of that UN office, come out and say “my fellow Zambians, forgive me for the words I used before, during and after elections. I was wrong to mislead you. Let’s build Zambia together.” That is reconciliation. That is what President Hakainde Hichilema has been preaching, One Zambia One Nation.
Hiding in the UN will make people not respect you. But asking for forgiveness will make even those who voted for HH respect you. Come out, face Zambians, ask for forgiveness. That is the only way forward.
