UAE SUSPENDS TRADE WITH IRAN AFTER MISSILE INCIDENT

The United Arab Emirates reportedly suspended all trade with Iran last week after Tehran launched ballistic missiles toward waters near the UAE’s territorial boundaries.

The move came shortly before the launch of the U.S. “Operation Economic Pariah,” a sweeping sanctions campaign targeting countries and entities accused of providing economic support to Iran.

The UAE has long expressed frustration over what it describes as repeated Iranian missile attacks and threats against its sovereign territory.

The latest decision marks a significant escalation in tensions between Abu Dhabi and Tehran, while also highlighting the growing economic pressure being placed on Iran and its regional trading partners.
