I WILL NEVER LEAVE UPND UNTIL I’M BURIED, SAYS PAUL MOONGA.
A video is circulating online in which Mr. Paul Moonga is being questioned by Dr. Proud, a regular radio caller, over his history of moving from one political party to another.
During the exchange, Dr. Proud reminds Mr. Moonga of assurances he made when he joined the United Party for National Development (UPND) last year.
Mr. Moonga is heard assuring Dr. Proud and his followers that he would remain in the UPND until his final day, saying he would never leave the party until he was buried.
However, ahead of the 13 August 2026 General Elections, Mr. Moonga left the UPND and joined the Toonse Pamodzi Alliance, a move that has now brought his earlier statement back into the spotlight.
The video has sparked debate among political followers, with some questioning the consistency of Mr. Moonga’s political journey.
