FRANK TAYALI PETITIONS NDOLA CENTRAL ELECTION OUTCOME
Former Ndola Central Member of Parliament Frank Tayali has petitioned the Ndola Central parliamentary election outcome, challenging the results that saw Resolute Party candidate Emmanuel Mulenga declared winner in the August 13 General Election.
He said this statement on his Official Facebook page….
Ba Ndola Central !
YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND. You have petitioned me to Petition The High Court For Zambia Holden at Ndola for The August 13 Poll Results … I am pleased to Officially Announce That, on Your Behalf, THE PEOPLES PETITION HAS SUCCESSFULLY BEEN FILED.
Tomorrow marks exactly 14 Days since The ECZ pronounced The Poll Results for our beloved Constituency. 14 Days is important to mention because it’s a STRICT Constitutional Provision for The Period Given for Petitions to be filed .
Let me thank ALL THOSE of you who took time to visit and encourage me , those that messaged me and indeed those of you who elected to PRAY FOR ME .
As a DEMOCRAT, I truly believe that Elections are the bedrock upon which successful democracies are built. As a LAWYER , I also believe in The Rule of Law as well as the need for a Peaceful, Violence Free environment to ALWAYS PREVAIL so as to ALLOW Citizens to Freely Elect Leaders of their choice.
Suffice it to say that August 13 Ndola Central Polls were marred by Glaring Election Irregularities and thank God for my training as a Lawyer , we ALWAYS kept a watchful eye to such and took time to not only record such , but also to report them to Law Enforcement Agencies such as The Police . Winning Elections MUST NEVER BE AT ALL COSTS nor BY HOOK or CROOK – after all , Politics is a SERVICE not A CAREER.
For now let the wheels of justice turn and God speed we live to fight another Day
