New Kabushi MP, Sichinga shows off National Assembly ID
KABUSHI Constituency NRPUP Member of Parliament elect, Tillas Sichinga has completed his formal registration as his journey begins at the National Assembly.
Newly elected MPs were called to report to Parliament Buildings today, for registration and orientation ahead of the 14th National Assembly.
His election was, however, petitioned in the High Court by United Party for National Development (UPND) ’s Emeldah Mpupuni.
Sichinga was declared MP after the August 13, 2026 polls with 14,635 votes.
Mpumpuni came second with 8,698 votes.
There are several other petitions filed across the country.
Among others are Nkana, Kalabo South, Bangweulu, Siavonga, Zambezi Central, Nchanga, Mwense, Bwana Mkubwa and Ndola Central Constituencies.
