MASKED INTRUDER SEEN BEFORE FIRE AT POLISH DRONE FACILITY
Another NATO defense-industry facility connected to Ukraine has been hit by a suspicious fire.
The blaze began shortly after midnight at a WB Group plant in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Poland. The facility manufactures composite structures, flight-control components and battlefield-support equipment for unmanned systems used by Polish and Ukrainian forces.
Surveillance footage reportedly captured a masked person crossing the perimeter shortly before the fire. An intrusion alarm was triggered, while investigators later recovered a backpack and sweatshirt near the site. No one was injured, and the company described the fire as limited, although infrastructure was damaged.
Polish police and the Internal Security Agency are investigating whether this was deliberate sabotage. No foreign state has been connected to the incident.
This is the second unexplained fire at a Polish facility associated with drone production in two days. It also follows suspicious incidents involving defense companies elsewhere in NATO—including an attempted arson attack in Slovakia and coordinated intimidation in Lithuania and the Czech Republic.
Each case must be investigated independently, but the pattern can no longer be dismissed as background noise. Someone entered a NATO defense plant wearing a mask, and the building caught fire moments later. Europe must determine who is testing its defenses—and stop them before the next attempt causes far greater damage.
