This message goes to thank all the Tonse Family Members both in Zambia and those based in the diaspora for cominng quickly on board to raise money to bail our 16 members who have been in the Mongu prison facility for the last 25 days.
We have just received an update this evening from our fundraising coordinator sister Lilian Mutambo that we have raised the K83,000 that was needed as cash bail for our brothers.
We further wish to make an appeal to all you supporters of President Mundubile and Makebi Zulu to continue forwarding those contributions to Sister Lilian so that we continue supplying our incacerated brothers and sister as well as helping their families.
We all ought to remember that with unity of purpose, there is nothing we can fail to achieve and we will ensure that there is total transparency over your contributions.
