President-elect Hichilema heads to Heroes Stadium for inauguration
President-elect Hakainde Hichilema, accompanied by First Lady Mutinta Hichilema, is on his way to Heroes Stadium in Lusaka for his inauguration ceremony.
“Fellow Citizens. We are now heading to Heroes Stadium for the inauguration ceremony. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! May God Bless Zambia,” Mr Hichilema said in a Facebook post.
Thousands of Zambians have been streaming into the stadium since the early hours, with artists entertaining the crowd as they await the start of the official programme.
