The rapper posted lyrics from a popular gospel song:
“I’ve got my mind made up
And I won’t turn back
Because I want to see my Jesus some day”
The post quickly surpassed 1.9 million views and received more than 100,000 likes.
Hours later, Minaj shared Psalm 36 and wrote, “This is what the Lord is saying today.”
She highlighted Scripture warning about the sinfulness of the wicked before declaring God’s unfailing love, faithfulness, righteousness and justice.
“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.”
In a culture where celebrities are often afraid to mention the name of Jesus, it is encouraging to see someone with Nicki’s enormous platform sharing God’s Word.
Pray that she continues drawing closer to Jesus and boldly pointing millions of people toward Him.
