Israel Prepares for Possible Iranian Attack During Jewish Holidays
Israel is preparing for the possibility of an Iranian attack during the upcoming Jewish holiday period, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has said.
Katz warned that Israel would respond “with great force” to any Iranian attack and stressed that the country is prepared to act independently, regardless of whether the United States is involved.
“The Prime Minister and I follow this on a daily basis together with the IDF, sometimes in the middle of the night on the red line,” Katz said. “We do not take any information lightly. We do not want to be surprised. We are prepared.”
The remarks come amid heightened tensions between Israel and Iran and growing concerns over the possibility of further military escalation in the region.
