U.S. VICE PRESIDENT: 15 MILLION BARRELS OF OIL PASSED THROUGH HORMUZ OVERNIGHT
The U.S. Vice President said that 15 million barrels of oil passed through the Strait of Hormuz overnight, crediting the United States for ensuring the vital shipping route remained operational.
“If we had not done that, nobody else could have done it, and the world would have faced a very serious energy crisis,” the Vice President said.
The remarks underscore Washington’s claim that U.S. military efforts have played a critical role in protecting global energy supplies and preventing a major disruption to oil markets.
