🟧 HEAD OF PUTIN-LINKED MILITARY FUND KILLED IN OCCUPIED CRIMEA

Anatoly Chernyshov, executive director of the Russian military-support fund “People’s Front: Everything for Victory,” has been killed in occupied Crimea.

According to the organization, the 58-year-old sustained blast injuries during a Ukrainian aerial attack near Skvortsove in the Simferopol district. He was taken to a hospital but later died. Ukraine has not separately confirmed that he was the intended target.

Chernyshov was not simply a civilian fundraiser. His organization collects money and supplies Russian forces with drones, electronic-warfare equipment, vehicles, thermal sights, drone detectors and other battlefield equipment. It operates under the All-Russia People’s Front, the pro-Kremlin movement established by Vladimir Putin in 2011.

Putin reportedly awarded Chernyshov the Order of Courage posthumously. His death demonstrates that those organizing and sustaining Russia’s occupation can also face the consequences of the war they help maintain—even far behind the immediate front.
