UNZA STUDENTS STORM CHASEFU TO CELEBRATE CHIPETA
University of Zambia (UNZA) students travelled to Chasefu District in large numbers to join the joyous celebration following the successful swearing-in of independent Chasefu North Member of Parliament Captain Towani Chipeta at Parliament.
The students joined locals in vibrant chants and traditional drumming, honouring a leader who, even before becoming MP, had already drilled 31 boreholes and consistently supplied anti-malarial drugs to all 21 health facilities in the district
This woman cuts across all ages and interacts seamlessly, a quality that endeared her to both the young students and the elderly villagers who turned out to celebrate her victory
Many expressed confidence that her disciplined approach and accountability vow would finally translate into tangible progress for independent Chasefu North, particularly in water, health, and road infrastructure, building on the solid foundation she had already laid long before her swearing-in.
