UNITED STATES: Elon Musk’s First Wife Calls Their Marriage “Super Toxic,” Says She Learned Gaslighting Through Relationship

Elon Musk’s first wife, Justine Wilson, has described their marriage as “super toxic,” alleging that the billionaire often made her feel insignificant and treated her more like an employee than a partner.

Speaking in a new documentary about Musk, Wilson said she learned the term “gaslighting” through her relationship with the billionaire.

Wilson, who had six children with Musk, also recalled an incident from their wedding when she said Musk told her, “I am the alpha in this relationship.”

She further alleged that Musk frequently commented on what he considered her shortcomings, saying he was “constantly remarking” on the ways he found her lacking.

The couple’s relationship also endured a devastating loss when their son, Nevada, died from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at 10 weeks old.

The documentary, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, also features claims from Musk’s former partner Ashley St. Clair.

St. Clair alleged that she was offered $40 million in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement to participate in the film. She said she rejected the offer because she wanted to show her children that speaking truth to power should not come with a price tag.

Musk denied the claim, saying St. Clair was never offered the money and accusing her of having a history of making false claims.

The documentary has renewed public interest in Musk’s personal relationships and the allegations made by some of the people who have been close to him.
