Nollywood Actress Tope Osoba Laid to Rest:
Late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, popularly known as Tope Osoba, has been laid to rest.
The actress was buried on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Iperu Remo Cemetery in Ogun State, Nigeria.
Videos from the funeral ceremony showed emotional scenes as family members, friends and colleagues gathered to bid the actress a final farewell.
Among those who attended the burial were several Nollywood personalities, including Kunle Afod, Joke Jigan, Basira Badia and Foluke Daramola.
DAILY POST reports that Tope Osoba died on August 4, 2026.
Her burial was initially scheduled for August 13 but was postponed following public concerns and outcry over the circumstances surrounding her death.
Following allegations linking him to the actress’ death, police arrested and detained her lover, Prophet Itunu, as investigations into the matter continued.
