Iranian Hardliners Call for Military Response After Israeli Strikes
Hardline Iranian officials are reportedly calling on Tehran to abandon its restraint and restore its deterrence through military force following recent Israeli strikes against Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon.
They are urging Iran to respond militarily to demonstrate that it will not remain passive in the face of Israeli attacks.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, meanwhile, warned that Iran knows the extent of Israel’s military capabilities and said he was prepared for any new Iranian action.
