US Ambassador Sparks Diplomatic Storm: “We Want Thabo Mbeki, Not Ramaphosa”
In a stunning diplomatic rebuke, US Ambassador Leo Brent Bozell III has openly criticized President Cyril Ramaphosa’s handling of international relations, suggesting Washington would rather deal with former President Thabo Mbeki.
Speaking on the current impasse, Bozell praised Mbeki’s “expertise in international relations,” stating: “President Mbeki understands the mechanics of international diplomacy and economic engagement.”

Once again, this is not his first remark. They live in that superiority complex, thinking they know everything.”
