Soldiers Pick Katele Kalumba from Chiengi
Breaking; A horde of soldiers have stormed the home of former Minister of Finance Katele Kalumba in Chiengi district and have taken him away to an unkown destination.
Kalumba has recently been issuing critical statements against the incaceration of Liberal Democrat Party President, Xavier Chungu, has condemned matters related to the stolen election and has issued pleas for President Hakainde Hichilema to release those incacerated on trumoed up and concocted treason charges.
In August 2023,after President Hakainde Hichilema granted him a pardon on medical grounds, the Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS) released him on medical grounds and confirmed that he suffered from severe, multiple health complications—including heart failure and a spinal injury—and had been frequently hospitalized at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
