US AMBASSADOR SAYS HE PERSONALLY PRESENTED A PLAN TO PRESIDENT RAMAPHOSA TO SUPPORT RURAL FARMERS AND COMBAT RURAL CRIME, CALLING IT A TOP PRIORITY FOR SOUTH AFRICA
United States Ambassador to South Africa Brent Bozell III says he personally met with President Cyril Ramaphosa and presented proposals aimed at supporting rural farmers and tackling rural crime.
According to Bozell, he told the President that strengthening support for farmers and addressing crime in rural communities should be treated as a top-level national priority. He argued that agriculture plays a vital role in South Africa’s economy and food security, and that farmers need greater protection and support to continue operating successfully.
