Ukraine Strikes Russian Oil Refinery, Missile Components Plant and Air Defense System
Ukraine carried out a new wave of long-range strikes against Russian targets overnight, hitting the Ilsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said strikes in the Rostov region hit a plant supplying Russia’s military with components for missiles and artillery, as well as a Pantsir-S2 air defense system.
Additional strikes were reported against logistics facilities supporting Russia’s war effort, while Ukrainian forces also reported activity in the Black Sea.
The latest attacks underscore Kyiv’s continued campaign to strike Russia’s military-industrial and energy infrastructure far beyond the front line.
