Ukraine Reports Wave of Long-Range Strikes Across Russian Regions
Ukraine says its forces carried out a new wave of long-range strikes against Russian targets over the past 24 hours.
Oil facilities in the Samara and Volgograd regions were reportedly hit, while additional operations targeted airfields, industrial facilities, oil refineries and an ammunition depot.
Ukraine also reported strikes against a missile and space facility and other military-related targets across the Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar and Volgograd regions, as well as an operation in the Black Sea.
The strikes involved units from Ukraine’s Security Service, military intelligence, Special Operations Forces and other long-range strike formations.
Kyiv has increasingly relied on long-range weapons and drones to target Russian military infrastructure, energy facilities and logistics far from the front line.
