DON’T ENTERTAIN THIRD TERM IDEA, PROPHET JOSHUA IGINLA WARNS HICHILEMA.
Nigerian-based Prophet Joshua Iginla has cautioned President Hakainde Hichilema against listening to people who may encourage him to seek a third term in office.
Prophet Iginla says the downfall of a good leader can begin when he starts believing that he should remain in power beyond the constitutional limit.
The clergyman described President Hichilema as a good man and urged him to focus on serving Zambians, complete his constitutional term and peacefully hand over power when his time in office comes to an end.
He warned that any attempt to seek a third term or manipulate the Constitution could damage President Hichilema’s legacy.
“President Hakainde Hichilema, sir, you are a good man. Many people will whisper in your ears that you can continue, go for a third term or change the Constitution. Don’t do it!
“Once you agree to do it, then that will be the end of your legacy. Work for the people and when your time is up, leave the seat and be a father figure in the country,” Prophet Iginla said during his Sunday church service.
