ANTONIO MWANZA ONCE THREATENED HICHILEMA WOULD “DIE IN PRISON”.
A video circulating on social media has resurfaced showing Antonio Mwanza, who at the time was serving as Patriotic Front Deputy Media Director, warning that then opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema could die in prison.
In the video, Mr. Mwanza is heard saying that the 127 days Mr. Hichilema had previously spent in prison were not enough, warning that he could face a longer imprisonment if he continued making what he described as seditious statements.
“I want to tell Hakainde Sammy Hichilema that if he continues issuing these seditious statements, he will go to prison. If 127 days were not enough, this time around he will die in prison,” Mr. Mwanza is heard saying.
The remarks have resurfaced amid renewed public debate over political statements and past positions taken by political actors.

That video documents very clear conspiracy to murder. In criminal law, even if the act isn’t carried out, mere intention is enough to get someone locked up. Our police are very sleepy otherwise this chap would have been locked up ages ago.
And today he wants to grand stand as a possible replacement for HH in 2031 ??
This will not happen.
Anything tainted with PF isn’t going anywhere politically.
What does he want to do that he didn’t do when he was a high ranking PF official?
And he promised to amputate his own genitals if PF lost. He hereby equated the collective intelligence of the Zambian electorate to his genitals.
And at the time HH was renegotiating the kaloba that he and PF cohorts defaulted on, not once, but twice, this chap is on video saying HH does not have what it takes to negotiate with the IMF.
This was the arrogance that was prevalent and will resurface if such characters are brought back. Ng’wena is a ng’wena.
Antonio Mwanza should be very ashamed of this kind of behaviour.
