Ukraine Installs Anti-Drone Nets on Kyiv Bridge After Russian Strikes
Ukraine has begun installing large anti-drone nets on bridges in Kyiv for the first time, after a series of Russian drone attacks targeted key crossings over the Dnipro River.
The nets have been installed along the sides of Kyiv’s Northern Bridge, one of several bridges damaged or targeted in recent Russian strikes.
The protective measure has previously been widely used near Ukraine’s front lines to shield roads and critical infrastructure from drone attacks.
Kyiv is now strengthening defenses around key infrastructure as Russian airstrikes on the capital intensify.
