SIR WICKNELL LOCKS DOWN CBD EVEN IN DEATH
Sir Wicknell Chivayo’s funeral service is currently underway at Doves Funeral Services in Harare’s CBD, where thousands of mourners have gathered ahead of the collection of his body and that of his wife, Lucy “Lulu” Muteke.
The huge turnout has brought parts of the CBD to a standstill, with police deployed to manage the crowds and traffic.
Following the funeral service, the bodies will be collected and taken to the couple’s Gletwyn mansion, where they will lie in state ahead of their burial at Glen Forest Cemetery tomorrow.
