SENEGAL: “I want our wealth to stay with us. The profits should benefit our people” – Sadio Mané Just Invested $20 Million In Mango Processing Factory In His Hometown Bambali
Senegalese football icon Sadio Mané has launched a $20 million mango agro-processing project in his hometown of Bambali, Senegal.
The initiative is designed to create jobs, support local farmers, and ensure that the wealth generated from local agriculture stays within the community instead of being exported as raw produce.
Speaking at the launch, Mané said:
“I want our wealth to stay with us. The profits should benefit our people.”
According to organizers, the factory will boost agricultural development, add value to local mango production, and create new opportunities across the entire supply chain.
For Mané, this is more than just an investment in agriculture – it’s part of his ongoing commitment to give back to Bambali and drive economic and social development in Senegal.
Another powerful example of using success to uplift the community.
