THIS IS HILARIOUS: Even Sean Hannity couldn’t defend Trump’s new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, and he made her admit on live TV that she never passed the bar exam.
When Sean Hannity is grilling you, things have gone very, very wrong.
Zacharia’s first White House briefing on Tuesday was a disaster. According to Mediaite, she took just three questions in 14 minutes, with most of that time spent reading prepared remarks. Even a White House official said she got off on the wrong foot and needed to improve fast.
Hannity first called the briefing “perfectly normal.” By Thursday night, he was asking her to her face: “What happened?”
Her answer? Her prep materials weren’t finalized until that morning, and she probably should have just stepped aside instead of taking questions.
Then Hannity got to the lawyer problem.
Zacharia has spent years on TV being introduced as a lawyer. So Hannity asked her point blank: you took the bar exam, but you didn’t pass it. Correct?
“Yes, Sean.”
Did you ever take it again?
“I did not, Sean.”
Then Hannity hit her with a new report showing 15 social media posts where she identified herself as an attorney. Her excuse? They were retweets.
Hannity even offered her an easier version of the story. Why not just say you went to law school, took the bar once, didn’t pass, and chose a different path?
Because that would have required telling the truth from the start.
