BREAKING: U.S. REPORTEDLY SOUGHT IRAN’S CONSENT FOR STRIKE ON PICKAXE MOUNTAIN

The United States has reportedly asked Iran for permission to strike its nuclear facility located at Pickaxe Mountain, seeking to ensure that the attack would not trigger an Iranian retaliation while demonstrating to the world that Washington could carry out a strike inside Iran.

According to Morteza Ghoroghi, a journalist with Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, Tehran rejected the request.

Ghoroghi warned that President Donald Trump’s statements could indicate the possibility of a war breaking out within the next 24 hours. He also said Iran’s armed forces are currently on “full alert.”

Reuters has separately reported that Trump said the United States may strike the Pickaxe Mountain site.

My take:
“Trump is now asking Iran for permission to strike its own territory.

If confirmed, this would be a major political and strategic victory for Iran.”
