Real Madrid have just played their BEST football this season, in their 4-1 win against Sevilla!!!
We saw the quick-witted attacking moves not the slow pensive ones. That was largely thanks to Diomande who had an incredible match on that left wing. Set up Arda brilliantly for first and finished off a counter with a golazo to put icing on the cake.
Take note of Arda Guler’s position. He came from deep in midfield. Arda, as I’ve always pointed out, isn’t best on the flanks. With his good touch, he can better aid Real Madrid in the midfield area that lacks technical support.
Real Madrid today was really fluid today. There was considerable balance in the attack.
I still think Mbappe and Diomande (or an in-form Vini) should play on both wings interchangeably while a proper centre forward plays in the middle.
All the same, great performance today ahead of El Clasico. Real Madrid definitely stand a chance!
