FORMER FBI BIGWIGS ARRESTED FOR LYING TO CONGRESS ABOUT HUNTER BIDEN PROBE
Two former senior FBI officials who ran the Bureau’s Foreign Influence Task Force during the 2020 election were arrested this morning and charged with lying to Congress about their role in the Hunter Biden investigations.
Nikki Cole Floris, 46, and Bradley Benavides, 56, surrendered on arrest warrants in a case brought by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro. Both previously testified that their task force had nothing to do with the Hunter Biden matter. Evidence now shows otherwise.
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the arrests and said documentary evidence, contemporaneous communications, and witness accounts directly contradict their sworn statements. Floris is also on record privately claiming she was “running a shadow government” while leading the unit during the 2020 election.
Pirro stated that one of the officials claimed they only learned about the Hunter Biden investigations from Wikipedia, even as the task force worked to shape the public narrative around Hunter Biden’s laptop in the weeks before the election. That same unit held meetings with Big Tech companies right as the New York Post’s laptop story was being suppressed across social media platforms.
“Lying to Congress by senior FBI officials strikes at the heart of our system. No one is above the law,” Patel said. “The FBI has already dismantled the corrupt CR-15 squad that engaged in political weaponization targeting their opponents, including President Trump.”
Pirro added that when senior FBI agents lie to Congress believing they are above the law, “it’s time to bring the hammer of justice down on them.” She made clear the Department of Justice will hold accountable anyone who obstructs the truth
These charges mark the latest step in cleaning out the weaponized elements inside the FBI that worked to protect Joe Biden’s family and influence the 2020 election. The deep state is finally facing consequences.
