Over $19,000 Raised for 3-Year-Old Football Talent Nevada as Support Pours In
More than $19,000 has been raised for three-year-old football talent Nevada Pierre following a controversy at a youth football match in Winter Park, Florida.
The fundraiser, organised by his mother, Martasia Griffin, aims to support his football development, including training, equipment, registration and travel expenses.
Nevada has attracted widespread attention following a dispute involving his parents and youth league officials that led to police being called. His family alleges he was unfairly treated because of his football ability, while a league official gave a different account. Police said the incident was a civil matter and confirmed that no arrests were made.
Children’s entertainer Ms. Rachel has invited Nevada to appear on her show, while former professional footballer Eddie Johnson has offered to support his training.
