TRUMP ADMITS MELANIA THINKS HE’S CRAZY FOR WORKING NONSTOP ON THE MIDTERMS — THEN SHOWS OFF HOW HE FIXED THE LIGHTS HIMSELF
While most politicians are already packing it in, President Trump is still grinding every single night to deliver for Republicans in the midterms. In a recent rally, he openly admitted his wife Melania thinks he’s lost it for the hours he’s keeping.
“And now the other day, I left, I left, where did I leave? Mississippi. And I was coming home very late. I got home very late. I’ve been getting home late every single night. My wife thinks I’m crazy,” Trump said.
He then described driving up the driveway at home with the lights finally working the way they should. For years the exterior lighting was a mismatched mess — different colors, dim bulbs, one completely broken. Trump fixed it.
“And we were riding up that drive, and the lights were on. You know, the lights were different colors before. They’d have a light one, a little darker one, another light one, now one that was broken, terrible. And now they’re magnificent, light, all the best you can get. The exterior lighting is so beautiful,” he explained.
Trump said he handles these kinds of improvements the same way he handles everything else: himself.
“And I was driving up, and I said, does that look beautiful? So, I’d just say that, you know, I do it out of my back pocket. I fix it. And I do it naturally. In fact, for me it relaxes. For some people that kind of thing is, you know, traumatizing.”
