Mojtaba Khamenei Orders Military to Respond Without Geographic Limits as Iran Warns of Wider War

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has ordered the country’s armed forces to respond immediately to any enemy threat without geographical restrictions, as tensions with the United States and Israel continue to escalate.

In a statement published on his official Telegram account on October 31, Khamenei said Iran would determine the timing and conditions for ending any renewed military or terrorist attacks by its enemies.

He also ordered military commanders to update Iran’s target list to include US and Israeli physical and non-physical assets within the reach of Iranian forces.

Meanwhile, Iranian Army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia warned that any new US military operation against Iran would cause the conflict to spread across a much wider geographical area.

“If US President Donald Trump once again embarks on another military adventure in the region under pressure from and inducement by Israel, the flames of war will undoubtedly engulf a much wider geographical area,” Akraminia warned.

The statements come amid growing concerns over renewed US military strikes following the November 3 midterm elections, while diplomatic efforts continue to prevent another round of fighting.
