Appointments;Cyber security boss finally gets full squad, vows tough fight against cybercrime

SINCE he was sworn in on June 10 last year by President Hakainde Hichilema, Cyber Security Agency Director General Dr Schmidt Chintu had been operating without a complete support system.



Today Constitutional Court Deputy President, Justice Arnold Shilimi swore-in of 15 directors, deputy directors and heads of units.

During the ceremony, Arnold Shilimi urged all the appointees to execute their duties diligently.



The officials sworn  include deputy director general Garry Akalemwa Mukelabai, Director Legal and Licensing Maureen Banda, Director Finance Obert Ngandu and Director of Strategy Affairs and engagements Namuya Maureen Jangulo.



Also sworn in were director of Human Capital and Administration Mutinta Muchindu, Director Critical information infrastructure Nalucha Imasiku, Director Threat Intelligence and Investigations Taslim Mukabe and Deputy Director Threat Intelligence and investigation Lwiimbo Kasweshi.



The remaining appointees include deputy director critical information infrastructure Mutinta Chilobe Esther Cholwe, deputy director human capital and administration Chonzi Mulenga, deputy director research, education and awareness Edgar Mlauzi and deputy director policy and standards Abel Bihinda.



Finally, the heads of units sworn in were head corporate communication Lusubilo Gondwe, head procurement Muna Mweemba, and head strategy monitoring and evaluation Akokwa Liwena.
