KALABO-SIKONGO-ANGOLA ROAD CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WELCOMED

The news that a multi million dollar cooperation agreement for the construction of the Kalabo – Sikongo – Angola road has finally been signed, has indeed elated the people of Western Province as once completed, this will greatly ease the movement of goods and services as well as boost trade between Zambia and Angola.
It’s indeed gratifying to note that President Hakainde Hichilema has placed high premium on the construction and rehabilitation of all economic roads in Zambia, particularly Western Province, which were previously in deplorable state like Mongu – Lusaka road, Nalikwanda road, Limulunga road as well as Muoyo road rehabilitation works which have since been completed.
It’s for this reason, we call upon the people of Zambia and indeed Western Province in particular to support President Hichilema, who has demonstrated political will and commitment to take development to all corners of Zambia without leaving anyone behind.
