By Chinoyi Chipulu

Nchanga Constituency aspiring candidate Mulaza Kaira, popularly known as Macky 2, has allegedly been barred from commissioning a borehole he constructed for Chapuswike residents in Chingola.

But Chingola district commissioner Raphael Chimupi said Kaira did not follow the right procedure and he did not engage his office to indicate that he had intentions to donate anything to the community.

Meanwhile, sources close to Kaira told Daily Revelation that he will not be frustrated by anyone and would not be

  1. Chap doesnt learn. Throwing money at a problem is not the solution.
Isnt he the one who had his chickens and mealie meal thrown back on his face. Wela mona kwati abanobe fipuba. This money you think you can throw around isnt going to get you elected.
Public property is public for a reason. Follow the law and procedure.

  2. Donation with reason to buy voters is not donation for help. That’s political.

I do not think there can be a procedure if you want to donate for good will.

  3. On this one Mr commissioner let this guy be and help him to work on that procedure, our people need water. We should not discourage those who want to help

    • There help and there is vote buying. When you want to help be humble. Show that you are there to help, dont go into a domain with a “know it all attitude”. The mealie meal saga should have been a lesson to this youngman….money doesnt always solve problems. Sometimes what people need is a person who listens to their problems. Identifies priorities and lead them in doing for them.

Yes, ba Musonda the commissioner should be the person to show him. Kaira also needs to learn to humble himself. You can NOT lead if you youself dont want to be led.

    • There is a public development plan in place. What would be the point if the area in question is already earmarked for development? Look, it’s similar to our personal properties-you don’t just erect buildings anywhere without submitting plans to the council for approval. It’s as simple as that. Following the law in a civilized manner, is not so difficult bane?
