MNANGAGWA OWES $3.5 BILLION — NOW WHITE FARMERS BEG TRUMP TO FORCE PAYMENT!
AFRICA, we need to talk about this!
President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government promised to pay $3.5 BILLION to compensate former white commercial farmers back in 2020 but has FAILED to deliver!
Now these farmers have gone OVER Mnangagwa’s head and hired a powerful US lobbying firm connected to President Donald Trump to force Zimbabwe to pay up!
HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING:
➡️ Zimbabwe agreed in 2020 to compensate for farm infrastructure seized during land reforms
➡️ 5+ years later — NO meaningful payments!
➡️ In 2026, Mnangagwa allocated only $10 MILLION for 740 farmers (nothing compared to $3.5 billion owed!)
➡️ Most “payments” are long-term bonds farmers can’t even cash
➡️ Zimbabwe owes $21 BILLION in total debt to World Bank, IMF & creditors
➡️ US Republican lawmakers want to BLOCK Zimbabwe from IMF/World Bank funds until farmers are paid!
AFRICA, THIS IS OUR PROBLEM!
When African leaders make deals and break them, we lose credibility worldwide! When our presidents can’t honor agreements, foreigners run to Western powers to enforce justice and we wonder why Africa isn’t respected!
President Mnangagwa signed this deal — he must honor it! Zimbabwe’s economic crisis is partly self-inflicted. You can’t make promises and then hide!
Land reform was necessary but HOW you handle it matters! Now Zimbabwe is internationally isolated, broke, and begging for debt relief while owing billions!
This is a lesson for ALL African leaders:
Your word must mean something! Your agreements must be honored! Or else we’ll keep running to the West with our problems!
Will Trump force Mnangagwa’s hand? Can Zimbabwe afford NOT to pay?
