CHAMA South PF Member of Parliament Davison Mung’andu says people in his constituency have asked him to work with President Hakainde Hichilema to deliver development.
Recently, PF faction Chairperson for Information Publicity Emmanuel Mwamba said Mung’andu and his Chipangali counterpart Andrew Lubusha were digging their own political graves by supporting a President who had failed.
But in an interview, Wednesday, Mung’andu said he moved from ward to ward where his constituents advised him to continue working with the UPND government, adding that President Hichilema is a good man who should be supported.
“Where we come from, people don’t elect a political party, they elect individuals. Check the history of Chama South. So my people have told me to work with President Hichilema.

Mung’andu, you’re a really an MP, proper and good timing. A very objective leader whom the constituents must rally behind. Chama South Wikipedia never be the same again. Honorable, just focus on the people’s advice and listen to the voice of the people, after all they are the ones who vote. Don’t listen to detractors who don’t want to hear the truth. That is how they have managed to kill PF, actually, it’s PF which is finished pa ground and not Hon. Mung’andu. If he stands on UPND ticket in 2026, his chances of winning are better than standing on a PF ticket.
