UGANDAN PASTOR BLESSES ZAMBIAN CHURCH LEADER WITH CAR WORTH K140,000
Lusaka, Zambia – August 25, 2025
In yet another remarkable display of generosity and faith, Engineer Pastor Ronald Ddumba, chairman of Ddumba Investment and Construction Company Zambia Limited, has donated a motor vehicle valued at K140,000 to Rev. Pastor C. J. Kayata, overseer of The Union of Apostles Church, located off Kafue Road in Lusaka, Zambia.
Pastor Ddumba, who is both an engineer by profession, chairman of Ddumba Investment and Construction Company Limited, and founder of The Gospel Church of All Nations Zambia (also known as The Pastor Ddumba Ministry Zambia), is no stranger to giving. On July 5th, 2025, he blessed a Petauke couple during their wedding with a cash gift of K50,000 and further pledged a vehicle worth K200,000 to support their marriage journey.
This time, his act of kindness was directed toward the church leadership. Having joined The Union of Apostles Church in 2019 after arriving in Zambia through a prophecy from his spiritual father, Prophet Samuel Kakande of Kakande Ministries Uganda, Pastor Ddumba has consistently supported the ministry by purchasing church equipment such as chairs, drum sets, a rostrum, a keyboard, and supporting church branches.
During the just-ended conference, where he was invited as guest of honour, Pastor Ddumba not only handed over the vehicle but also sponsored trophies worth K11,000 for the church choir competitions across all branches, presented in recognition of their dedication to ministry through music.
In addition, from one of the church’s other branches, Pastor Ddumba extended his generosity by gifting a brand new motorbike in August 2023 and K10,000 cash capital to the choir master, who is also regarded as the best singer in the Itezi-Tezi branch. This gesture is expected to empower the choir leader with both reliable transport and a startup fund to support his livelihood.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Ddumba explained that the donations were inspired by compassion and divine instruction.
“I noticed that every Sunday after preaching, Rev. Pastor C. J. Kayata and his family would walk several kilometers from their home just to find transport to church. God placed a burden on my heart to do something about it. Later, He confirmed it to me in a dream where I saw myself giving him a car,” he said.
The gifted car is expected not only to ease transport challenges for Rev. Pastor C. J. Kayata’s family but also to provide opportunities for small business ventures, enabling them to supplement their income.
Visibly touched, Rev. Pastor C. J. Kayata described the gift as an answered prayer.
“For years, transport has been a struggle for me and my family. This gift will not only help us attend to church duties with ease but also improve our livelihood,” he said.
The Union of Apostles Church congregation, based off Kafue Road, John Laing, Lusaka, celebrated the occasion with joy, offering thanks to God for the provision and for Pastor Ddumba’s unwavering commitment to the work of the ministry.
These donations — a K140,000 car for Rev. Pastor C. J. Kayata, K11,000 worth of choir trophies, and a motorbike plus K10,000 capital for a choir master — underscore the growing spirit of cross-border Christian support, with Engineer Pastor Ronald Ddumba reaffirming his belief that “when you give to God’s work, He multiplies and blesses you more.”
