38 NEWLY ELECTED COUNCILLORS FOR LUSAKA SWORN-IN
Chief Resident Magistrate Nthandose Chabala has sworn in 38 newly elected Local Government Councilors for Lusaka City Council following the recently held General Election.
The councilors include David Chembo of Nkoloma Ward 1, Richard Mumba of Chawama Ward 2, Beatrice Kunda of Garden Park Ward 10, Moffat Kamanga of Kabwata Ward 6, Masauso Ngoma of Chinika Ward 11, Clement Milonga of Lubwa Ward 18, Marvelous Siame of Kabulonga Ward 19, and Charles Bowa of Kamulanga Ward 9, among others.
The 38 councilors comprise 34 men and four women.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, Lusaka City Council Town Clerk Oliver Muuka urged the councilors to uphold confidentiality and serve the public interest by being transparent, responsible, and accountable.
