UPND VOWS TO HAVE PATRICK BANDA ARRESTED OVER IMPERSONATION CHARGES

UPND Media Director Mark Simuuwe says the party will take legal action against Mr. Patrick Banda, who recently declared himself the sole authority over the ruling party.
Mr. Simuuwe is urging party members to report Mr. Banda to the police for impersonation, stressing the UPND’s commitment to handling the matter within the law.
In an interview with Phoenix News, Mr. Simuuwe says Mr. Banda’s actions of taking over a legitimate organization are an offense.
Mr. Banda, a founding member, claims authority rooted in the party’s 1998 formation and constitution and has halted internal electoral processes and appointed Mr. Charles Longwe as interim Secretary General.
But Mr. Simuuwe says that the party is focusing on resolving the matter through proper channels and has emphasized the UPND’s firm stance on legal matters, saying Mr. Banda will be arrested.

A commendable action. Do not allow these unscrupulous individuals the opportunity to show disrespect towards the party. Pursue legal action against him and ensure he is apprehended. This individual appears to be severely malnourished. He has not consumed food for an extended period, only to arise and assert that he is the president. Detain him along with his sponsors. Do not permit worthless individuals to exploit opportunities.

Arresting the Interim President of UPND, Mr Patrick Tembo Banda for what?
The Mandate for the Current Leaders of UPND expired. As at now the UPND has no President, no Secretary General and No NMC.
As a TRUSTEE and founding Member of the UPND, he assumed temporal leadership to fill the vacuum.
If the UPND Leadership is on strong grounds why are they running away from being served court papers as alleged by Mr Charles Longwe?
You want to go to Court but you are running away from the same Court? It doesn’t make sense.
Accept the Summons and argue your case in court.
Only dull individuals believe that this person’s inexpensive remarks will be effective.Keep wishing, as what he is attempting to accomplish here will not succeed.HH has successfully maintained this party and has been funding it from his own resources for 20 years, a feat that few can achieve.Just noise makers vibrating their bums shaking a big tree thinking that it will go down
