I remember the day Garry Nkombo wept at the election results centre when President Hakainde Hichilema was declared the winner of the 2021 presidential election. Today, Garry finds himself subjected to the very kind of treatment that many Zambians believed they had voted against.
May this moment serve as a sobering mark on Zambia’s political landscape. It is my sincere hope that the President will publicly denounce what transpired against Mr. Nkombo today.
