I do not regret resigning from UPND- Garry Nkombo

yes to Bill 7, but I was among the nine who were vindicated five were cleared while four were not, and I happened to be part of the four.

I do not regret resigning from UPND to focus on my independent candidature, as people paid my nomination fee foXr me to stand.

I still think President Hakainde Hichilema will win the election, even though I was told not to use his name or the party on any platforms because I am no longer in UPND.

  1. Gary Nkombo has, in my view, shown weakness in the way he has responded to recent challenges. Great and influential leaders are often defined by how they handle disappointment and difficult situations. It is during their lowest moments and times of distress that they demonstrate true leadership by remaining calm, composed, and focused.

Building a good name and reputation is a continuous process that requires patience, wisdom, and self-control. As the saying goes, it is good to be quick to listen and slow to speak. Silence when provoked is not a sign of weakness but of strength. Sometimes, stepping aside and allowing events to unfold naturally is the wiser course of action.

In my opinion, Gary Nkombo has made mistakes by placing too much importance on proving his relevance and influence, rather than exercising restraint and allowing his actions to speak for themselves.

  2. There is no proof he did not give those people money to pay for his nomination….Zambians are no longer blind. Garry deserves everything that happened, he stopped answering people’s calls and only gave business to his parallel structure……this will be his 3 loss as mp when standing outside UPND!!!
