I NEVER DECLARED MYSELF WINNER OF THE ELECTIONS, SAYS MUNDUBILE.
NRPUP President Brian Mundubile says he never declared himself the winner of the 2026 General Elections.
Mr. Mundubile says all he stated publicly was that results collected by his team through its Parallel Vote Tabulation (PVT) and G20 system had placed him ahead of incumbent President Hakainde Hichilema.
And Mr. Mundubile has also distanced himself from people who allegedly took to the streets and damaged UPND campaign posters and other property, saying he does not know them.
Speaking to international media, Mr. Mundubile further alleged that foreign soldiers went to his residence, broke through the gate and opened fire while his family and colleagues were inside.
He claimed that the people who entered his residence were not speaking any of Zambia’s commonly known languages, leading him and his colleagues to suspect that they were foreigners.
Mr. Mundubile also rejected government claims, attributed to Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa, that his colleagues were armed.
“First and foremost, I never declared myself as winner of these General Elections. I just said I had results using our PVT and G20s that I was ahead of Hichilema. UPND in opposition also did the same,” he said.
“At my house yesterday, the army people came to our residence and fired gunshots. At my house was just my children, my wife and a few colleagues when they came in, broke our gate and started firing gunshots. I saw my colleague being shot at two times. The army that came were not speaking any of the known languages in Zambia; we suspect they are foreign.”
However, the interviewer did not press Mr. Mundubile on why the alleged soldiers would have opened fire if, as he maintains, there was no threat or armed resistance at the residence.

Can someone provide the video to rewatch and let him tell us which part of the video said, “results using our PVT and G20s that I was ahead of Hichilema”
He has sensed that prison is calling.
This man takes us for fools.
If you are ahead of Hichilema, that in itself is a declaration of victory.
A lawyer who doesn’t understand culpability and doesn’t acknowledge his own responsibility after opening his mouth wants to lead a nation.
So if Mundubile wins, he is simple telling us that he will be double tongued and therefore not worthy of anyone’s trust.
There is just something about this man I am failing to understand when I focus on his face. Just something strange. He looks very dangerous to me. Just my thoughts.
