ACCUSATIONS OF SODOM, ABDUCTION LEAVES CLAYSON HAMASAKA TRAUMATIZED

State House communications specialist Clayson Hamasaka says he was traumatized after being accused of having participated in the abduction and sodomising former Petauke Central independent MP Emmanuel Jay Jay Banda.

The fugitive Banda was snatched last week in unexplained circumstances, but according to multiple sources, the vocal politician whose live Facebook streams were frequently watched by millions of Zambians, was harvested from his hideout in northern Mozambique by a combined team of Zambian state security agents.

In the aftermath of his escape from his arrest in 2024, Jay Jay Banda accused some state officials including Hamasaka and home affairs permanent secretary Dickson Matembo of having abducted him when he was mysteriously found in an unfinished building in Kafue.

In September 2024, the Lusaka High Court struck out a matter in which Jay Banda sued the state, state house political advisor Levy Ngoma, Clayson Hamasaka and UPND’s Trevor Mwiinde, seeking damages for his abduction.

According to an order endorsed by Justice Mwape Bowa, the case was struck out from the active cause list due to the failure of Banda’s lawyers to make an appearance.

In the aftermath of Jay Jay Banda’s latest capture, Hamasaka denied having been involved in the alleged abduction and sodomising of the former PF Eastern province chairman.

“Family and myself are still traumatised at the accusations of having abducted and sodomised JJ Banda. This is a human being I have NEVER met in my life. More shocking is there are citizens who believe such lunatics,” Hamasaka wrote on his Facebook page.
