ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE NEW DAWN GOVERNMENT IN 2 YEARS 9 MONTHS OF OFFICE.

Happy new month Fellow Kitwe residents and Citizens of Zambia at large. What are your goals for the remaining half of the year 2024?

The new dawn government under the able leadership of his excellency the President of Zambia Mr Hakainde Hichilema has delivered some of its promises timely, even through the worst drought crisis ever experienced in our country.

These include;

  1. Meal Allowances in Universities✅
  2. Paid retirees✅
  3. Endless fight of corruption ✅ (You can now even get a job without paying ka something)
  4. Indeni workers paid✅
  5. Increased CDF to more than 1 million dollars which is addressing many issues✅
  6. Put a stop to lawlessness. Bushe ba Kitwe are you still harassed by cadres?✅
  7. Abolished death penalty ✅
  8. Made amendments to the laws such that court proceedings that took years will now be concluded in not more than 6 months✅
  9. Unlocked Mopani which has now started employing steadily✅
  10. Reopening of Luanshya new mine, shaft 28✅
  11. Creation of Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises to help small businesses grow
  12. Normalized operation of DC’s office to attend to anyone regardless of political affiliation.✅
  13. Introduction of free education✅
  14. Improved health sector by building a Level 1 standard health facility in every district✅
  15. Building the first ever cancer hospital✅
  16. Building an oxygen plant here on the Copperbelt at KTH✅
  17. The rehabilitation of KTH✅
  18. Freedom to information✅
  19. Freedom of speech✅
  20. All health facilities fully stocked with medicines here in Kitwe✅
  21. Recruitment of 3,237 Zambia Army Soldiers plus ZAF and all other security wings bringing it to a total of 7,000+ employed citizens✅
  22. Unlocked KCM✅
  23. First ever production of Fertilizer locally for Zambia✅

As we continue to tirelessly fight the high cost of living in our nation, we urge everyone to keep their faith as the fight to arrest economic hardships requires everyone’s input and not just government. There’s time for everything, time to work and time for politics, but now is the time to work for the betterment of our country. Because the impact of hardships is felt by everyone.

Together we stand, divided we fall and together we shall emerge stronger than ever before.
