NEWLY ELECTED PF PRESIDENT EXPELLED
The Patriotic Front ( PF) has expelled Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa who earlier held a faction party conference which elected him as Party president.
The PF Given Lubinda faction has since written to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Nelli Mutti, to inform her of the decision.
In a letter written by Lubinda who Lungu appointed to Act as PF president, he states that by holding an illegal meeting and purporting to hold an Extra-Ordinary General Conference the actions amounted to extremley gross insiscipline and threatened the integrity of the party.
The PF is yet to hold an extraordinary General Conference to elect a Successor to president Edgar Lungu.
10 candidates including Sampa early this year filed their nominations for the party presidency after paying nomination fee of K200, 000.
But the party has been postponding the General Conference, a situation that has caused wrangles and factions in the formed rulingparty. There are speculations that the delay is being done to facilitate the coming back of Lungu who resigned and was to hand over the party presidency to the new leader to be elected by the General Conference.
The Miles Sampa led faction earlier today went ahead to hold an extraordinary General Assembly without the part and elected Sampa as PF president. And within hours the Given Lubinda led faction with the majority of the current PF office bearers announced that Sampa had been expelled from the party.

Too late for what, you Upnd cadre. Ka Sampa is just a confused character and he has ruined his political career because of being too power hungry and too much love for money flowing from state house. One wonders, if Miles Sampa was able to organize a conference HOW difficult was it for PF to do that?
Now they are crying, the Green Boat has a big crack passengers are at risk.
If Miles Sampa managed to arrange a conference HOW then was it difficult for the Big Party PF fail to hold the same to choose their President?
