KALLIE KRIEL CONFIRMS HE WILL MEET WITH JACINTA NGOBESE-ZUMA AND HER MARCH AND MARCH TEAM, SPARKING NATIONAL DEBATE OVER WHAT THE TALKS COULD MEAN FOR SOUTH AFRICA

AfriForum CEO Kallie Kriel has confirmed that he will meet with Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma and her March and March team, saying he looks forward to the discussions and believes engagement between South Africans is important for building a better future.

The meeting follows recent statements from the March and March Movement indicating it wants to learn from some of AfriForum’s initiatives, including private prosecution efforts and the creation of independent institutions. The announcement has already sparked intense debate, with some welcoming dialogue between different groups and others questioning what such cooperation could mean politically.

Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has become one of the most talked-about activists in South Africa following a series of nationwide demonstrations focused on crime, unemployment, corruption, service delivery and economic challenges facing citizens.

The upcoming meeting is expected to draw significant public interest as both organisations discuss issues affecting the country despite their differing political and ideological positions.

Do you support leaders from different movements meeting to discuss South Africa’s future, or do you have concerns about this development?
