After days of silence, Makebi Zulu has returned to social media with Psalm 109.
The timing is hard to ignore.
Psalm 109 is a prayer attributed to David, asking God for justice and help against accusers and enemies.
That post comes as Zulu and Brian Mundubile face police questioning over an alleged offence of treason, after being warned and cautioned.
Zulu made no reference to the case in his post.
One commenter jokingly summed up the reaction: “A verse won’t save him from this situation.”
So was Zulu simply sharing a personal prayer, or was there more behind the choice of Psalm 109?

The best starting point is Psalm 51, a prayer of REPENTANCE.
The saga of the delayed burial of the late former president, Mr. Lungu and the use of his name for election campaigns was a new low in morality. He still remains unburied even after the South African court handed full authority over the body to the family.
Before he can cry out to God, he needs to repent.
